Harbor View’s Colorectal Surgery practice is proud to provide expert care to Long Island and accept all major insurances. We specialize in diagnosing, managing and operating on numerous colon and rectal conditions including inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis, pelvic pouch/J-pouch and redo pouch surgery), colorectal cancer, diverticulitis and anorectal disorders.
Mather colorectal offers personalized care that is comprehensive and compassionate. We are sensitive to our patients’ needs, and create a supportive, comfortable environment while being able to offer highly specialized care. At Mather colorectal, the needs of our patients come first and we are honored to serve in our community.
Though we specialize in re-operative surgery and often perform complex operations, we also aim to perform most surgeries as minimally invasive as possible. The range of surgical interventions we provide include: in-office procedures, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, trans-anal surgery, open surgery, and re-operative surgery.
We focus on a multi-disciplinary, team approach and emphasize communication with our patients and their primary/referring doctor by means of a detailed letter/phone call relaying our findings, recommendations and plans. We review all documentations, labs, and imaging.
