Biography
Dr. Khan is originally from Brooklyn. She graduated from the City College of City University of New York, in New York, and completed her medical school education at St. Georges University School of Medicine in St. Georges, Grenada.
She completed her residency at her first choice, Mather Hospital Northwell Health. She chose Mather for its sense of community and work environment, allowing her to work under inspiring attending physicians, whose knowledge and wisdom shaped her into the physician she is today.
As medicine is always evolving, and concepts changing, Dr. Khan loves that medicine encourages life-long learning and allows her to grow with it. The privilege of using this knowledge to continue to help others is an integral part of her practice of medicine.
Dr. Khan enjoys exercise and staying active, spending time at the gym or running races with the New York Road Runners Club. She also enjoys hiking and going to national parks with her husband. Additionally, she is passionate about art having studies Studio Art in her undergraduate years. Her medium of choice is oil paint on canvas.
Dr. Khan is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.
