Biography
Dr. Tien Nguyen is a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular diseases with subspecialty in Interventional Cardiology. He is honored to have joined Three Village Cardiology and Harbor View Medical Services after practicing in New York City for over 20 years. Dr. Nguyen specializes in General as well as Invasive & Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Nguyen is an active member and fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Angiography and Interventions. He has been involved in multiple clinical research trials, and has published in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Nguyen has been on academic committees and regularly teaches fellows, residents and medical students. He has additionally participated in administrative committee work and produces educational exhibits and presentations.
His extensive training and experience affords him the ability to provide his patients with the most complete and comprehensive cardiac care of the highest quality. Dr. Nguyen is proficient in the diagnosis, management and treatment of a wide spectrum of cardiovascular diseases including arrhythmias, coronary atherosclerosis, heart failure, hypertension, lipid disorders, myocardial infarction and valve ailments. He employs the most current, innovative and clinically relevant diagnostic tools and therapies to provide his patients with compassionate and competent care.
