Biography
Stephanie Wanlass is an adult gerontology nurse practitioner, treating patients varying in age from adolescent years to late adulthood, as well as old age and geriatrics. Stephanie is from Corinth, NY and attended Farmingdale Stage College. She received her BSN from Empire State College, and her masters from St. Joseph’s University.
Stephanie has worked in acute care and community outpatient settings and has experience in medical/surgical nursing, telemetry, neurosurgical step-down care, oncology, and palliative and hospice care.
What appeals most to Stephanie about medicine, are the challenges and opportunities to learn every day.
Stephanie enjoys being in nature – hiking and camping with family. She enjoys cooking and baking and feeding the neighborhood. She finds music therapeutic and loves to travel and experience new countries, cultures, and food.
