Biography
Dr. Ilyasova completed her medical school education, with honors, at Bukovinian Medical University, in her home country of Ukraine. She did her internship at Brookdale Hospital, Brooklyn, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mather Hospital Northwell Health – Port Jefferson.
Dr. Ilyasova serves on the Graduate Medical Education Committee and the Curriculum Committee at Mather Hospital Northwell Health.
She believes that a patient’s wellbeing and satisfaction is the greatest gift she receives each day, and that choosing the medical profession is not a job, but a lifestyle. Her joy is in helping her patients to have a healthy and happy life.
In her spare time Dr. Ilyasova likes bike riding, jogging, skiing, and enjoying time with her kids and family.
Dr. Ilyasova is fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
