Biography

Dr. Chykyda completed her Medical School education at the prestigious Ternopol State Medical Academy in her home country of Ukraine before going on to a residency in Obstetrics in Ukraine and London, England. In 2015, Dr. Chykyda emigrated to the United States where she was accepted for her training in Internal Medicine at Mather Hospital. She distinguished herself as a leader, serving as Chief Resident at Mather as well as academically, achieving Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Currently Dr. Chykyda works for the Hospital Medicine Department at Mather and serves as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. She is fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish and in her off time enjoys traveling, hiking and being with family and friends.
