Biography
Dr. Korlipara strives to provide the most comprehensive cardiac care with an individualized touch. In addition to Clinical Cardiology, he is trained and has been proficient in comprehensive Interventional cardiology including complex coronary interventions and trans-catheter aortic valve replacement techniques. Since completing his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology training at Stony Brook University Hospital and joining Three Village Cardiology in 1996, he has performed thousands of coronary angiography procedures and interventions and many TAVR procedures.
Even though his primary focus is on prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease, he derives immense satisfaction in caring for the full spectrum of cardiac conditions which encompasses valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy/Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation and other dysrhythmias, Vascular disease and Dyslipidemias. Given the strides made in the treatment of CAD with Drug Eluting Stents (DES) minimizing re-stenosis and repeat procedures, and the vast and innovative growth in the treatment of Valvular Heart Disease (percutaneous and minimally invasive), Heart Failure (LVAD and Heart Transplantation) and the new ways of lowering lipids for secondary prevention, he firmly believes and often tells his patients- "If you live long enough, we will find a cure." He is humbled and honored by the fact that many of his professional colleagues and hospital employees trust him to care for their families and loved ones.
