Biography
Dr. Christine Fruth is a lifelong Long Islander and is excited to be a part of Mather Primary Care. She has been a primary care and general internal medicine physician for over twenty years. Dr. Fruth graduated from Colgate University with a BS in Biochemistry in 1985 and received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990. She performed her internship at Peninsula Hospital Center and her Internal Medicine residency training at Winthrop University Hospital, both located here in the metropolitan area.. She has a special interest in women's health issues and preventative care. She feels privileged to have cared for multiple generations of patients in the same families!
In her spare time, Dr. Fruth enjoys spending with her time with her family, which includes two teenage daughters. She also is an avid fiction reader, a long time member of a local book group, and enjoys walking the nature trails of our beautiful North Shore.
