Harbor View Medical Services is happy to submit claims to your insurance carrier. Our offices accept a variety of insurance plans. However, not all offices are the same. Check with the office before your visit to make sure you're covered.
All copays are due at the time of service. If you have testing or x-rays during a visit, you may have additional copays or fees due at that time. Harbor View Medical Services does not offer any type of waiver on copays or deductible amounts.
You can make payments by check or major credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
We welcome patients who self-pay without insurance. Harbor View Medical Services offers special self-pay rates. If you're going to self-pay, call the office you'll be visiting. They can let you know the self-pay rates.
Our central Billing Department handles billing for all Harbor View Medical Services offices. If you have questions about your bill, an outstanding balance or collections, call the Billing Department at 631.686.2574.
Mather Hospital's Charity Care helps people in our community who can't afford care. If you don't have medical insurance, the program may be able to reduce your medical fees. It can also counsel you on government assistance programs.
