Our board certified Internal Medicine physicians manage all aspects of adult patients' general health care and provide referrals to other specialists. Our internal medicine (primary care) specialists treat common medical problems, while providing patients with preventive care and disease prevention strategies to help maintain a healthy lifestyle. In addition, our internal medicine physicians have taken additional training to "subspecialize" in additional areas of internal medicine. Our physician's collaborate closely with a highly skilled group of fellowship-trained specialty physicians who are also a part of Harbor View Medical Services.
These specialties include cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, neurology, vascular surgery and pulmonary medicine. In addition, we maintain active working relationships with specialists across Long Island and Manhattan. We also offer outpatient mental health services both in our offices as well as in coordination with John T. Mather Memorial Hospital.
