Dr. Young has a particular interest in preventative Cardiology and utilizing non-invasive tests to find out whether his patients actually have a heart condition. He is board certified in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT in addition to General Cardiology.
Dr. Young is an assistant professor at Stony Brook University Hospital and has been teaching medical students for many years. He gives annual Cardiovascular lectures to the medical staff at Mather and St Charles Hospital. Public lectures are also given periodically, as he has a masters degree from the Harvard School of Public Health.
